I have been out of the blogging world lately, haven't been reading much nor writing much. Life is happening and keeping me busy. I'm putting together a feature length film with some friends called Ugly Lights, been working on some new web jobs, spoke at a retreat, doing stuff with theStory and lots of other things. One day I'll be more regular, but I usually go through my ups and downs with this.

Awesome new music site called Songza; search and listen to almost any song, create playlists, works not just like pandora (which you can't get in canada anymore) but also the searching capabilities.

This was one of the most spectacular DVD's I've ever seen. It's all on Sigur Ros, one of the most talented bands and this DVD holds more of their creative masterpiece but now on video, all I want to do now is go to Iceland.

I found your quote on "For the Bible Tells Me So" a bit perplexing. It assumes there are only two possible responses to homosexual relationships - reconciliation or condemnation.

First, I have friends and family members who are homosexual. We have reconciled our relationship and still disagree on the ethics of same-gender sex.

Second, to be opposed to same-gender sexual relations is not to have an anti-gay bias. I love my uncle, who is gay. I believe it would be best for him to be celibate, but I'm not biased against him any more than I am biased against my mother for smoking cigarettes.

You know that was a quote I took off the website right? I don't think this movie is done from a Christian standpoint at all.

Your comments after would be something I would tend to agree with, but I think both things you said incorporate reconciliation of a sort, not really the type that they are talking about though.

that album cover projects looks like fun. Sadly I won't have time to push something over before their deadline, but I will steal the idea as an exercise for myself. Co-pastorship sounds fairly obvious to me. Just in the sense that it so perfectly mirrors the life of the community in right relelation with itself and its neighbours. I'm also interested in the idea where as your church grows your 'staff' shrinks.
