Our Wedding Pictures

Well a lot of people have been asking to see some pictures from the wedding. So here are some of my favourites. Our photographers name is Krista Jefferson, she is based out of Hamilton and was a friend of ours from the FRWY. She is phenomenal and a lot of fun to work with and really took some amazing shots. Check out her site that I built if you get a chance and if you’re getting married, I couldn’t recommend a better photographer.

You can see all the pictures that she took of us here. You need to enter in the ID “kj-colquhoun” Click on our album on her site to enter. You can see all the pictures that were taken on my camera along with Krista’s above in a lot more accessible manor.

I put a few of my favourite shots below, but there is really tons that I love. The pictures below look a bit pixelated but that’s just cause of how they got shrunk when I transferred them from her site.

  1. You and your boys look more like a gospel quintet than a wedding party.

Actually, that’s a good thing. Where I come from the groom and his friends, as a rule, spend hundreds of dollars renting tuxedos they will wear exactly once. What pretense, and what a colossal waste of money. When Carolyn and I were married, in 1984, all the men wore suits. We were all able to wear them for years, and I still have mine. So good for you for not being extravagant and worldly in your clothing.

    The outdoor pictures are keepers.

As I wrote earlier, everything that happened that day, aside from the promises themselves, are only a drop in the river of decades that stretch out before you and Rachel. May God continue to bless your lives together.

    Peace.
