Introducing Linking Life

I’ve been tossing around the idea for a while now of starting up a blog where I could write about anything I was feeling, reading or experiencing that day.  For those that know me, I think about a lot of things and I have a lot of ideas.  Based on a True Story has its place, but its almost strictly about my faith journey.  It is more a compilation of my faith journey about where I’ve been, where I’m going and a way to publicly wrestle with my stupid ideas.  It’s also a place where I have become somewhat of a voice (be it positive or negative) in Sarnia and the wider church.  So I want to leave this blog as that.  I’ve never wanted to advertise on it and I want to keep it true to how I’m feeling and experiencing rather than need to write for traffic.

Linking Life on the other hand is an experiment with some people that I am closest to in community.  Dan who grew up as a missionary kid in Tarasivka, Ukraine, Darryl who lives in Flint with his med-school wife, Nathan Shurr who works for a massive training company out of Guelph, Joe who never stops creating, Dave who runs a print shop in Peterborough, Ron who has sold out to the corporate IT world, Ryan who is a youth pastor in Sarnia, Aaron who is constantly chasing different creative endeavours in London,  Phil who is working at a mega-church in London,  Troy who is a professional photographer and idea man and Peter who is a university student all will be participating in this new project.  We are hoping to have a wide range of everything that is worth reading, watching and listening to.  All of us have some sort of faith leaning, and we are all independently seeking to make the world a better place through education, technology and music.

So add Linking Life to your reader and enjoy the content we produce and the places we link you to.
